Changes during COVID-19 pandemic:

A bill has been passed by the Senate and House to allow VA students to keep receiving their monthly housing allowance and to allow payments to remain the same for them even though all their classes will be switching from resident training (on campus) to distance training (online). There’s no action needed on the student’s part. Additionally, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Regional Offices are closed to the public starting today. The regional offices are still providing services, but just not face-to-face.

For questions related to Education Benefits please call 1-888-442-4551. All other questions VA-related, please call 1-800-827-1000. Students can also visit  to get information about benefits, file a claim, and updates about services provided (around COVID-19 impacts).
